Beta terms of use

These terms govern use of the CampusGig product beta. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Notice.

The beta is for testing and evaluation. Solana features use Devnet test assets only. Do not deposit real or mainnet assets. These terms require review by qualified counsel before commercial launch.

You must be able to form a binding agreement where you live and must provide accurate account information. Users under 18 may not use payment features unless CampusGig has introduced a legally reviewed guardian flow.

Keep credentials and recovery methods secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access.

Clients are responsible for lawful, accurate gig descriptions and timely review. Students are responsible for truthful profiles, appropriate applications, and original work that meets the accepted terms.

CampusGig provides marketplace, identity-review, communication, and payment-state infrastructure. CampusGig is not an employer, university, agent, or guarantor of a user's conduct, skills, or work quality.

A gig contract is formed between the client and selected student when both accept the same version of the scope, amount, currency, and deadline. Do not begin paid work until CampusGig shows payment as secured.

Changes to material terms require a new accepted version. Keep project communication and delivery evidence on CampusGig so it can be reviewed if a dispute occurs.

Available payment methods depend on the gig country and product stage. Fees and settlement amounts are shown before funding or release. Provider and blockchain fees may also apply.

The current local NGN integration supports verified funding only; automated local payout and refund are not enabled. The current USDC flow is custodial on Devnet and remains part of the CampusGig trust model. Neither flow should be described as regulated escrow.

You may not use CampusGig for fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, impersonation, harassment, academic cheating, unlawful goods or services, malware, credential theft, payment circumvention, or infringement of another person's rights.

Do not move payment off-platform to avoid safeguards or fees, and never request another user's password, one-time code, wallet secret, or private key.

Either contract party may open a dispute with a specific description and supporting evidence. CampusGig may pause release, request more information, restrict features, suspend accounts, or preserve records while reviewing safety, fraud, or legal concerns.

Detailed refund, appeal, governing-law, and formal dispute-resolution rules must be finalised before commercial launch.

The beta may change, become unavailable, or contain defects. Test data may be reset. To the extent permitted by law, the beta is provided without commercial-service warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We may update these beta terms as the product and legal model develop. Material changes will be presented before they take effect.
